Property Location

Conceived as though by Nature’s own Architect, TreeHouse Villas, is a visionary new adults-only luxury resort design for those with a love of the environment, beauty of nature and a desire to rediscover their inner child. Set amongst the jungle’s canopy in a treetop location with unspoiled views to the sea and the ancient Jurassic massifs of Phang Nga Bay itself. 

TreeHouse Villas is located in the remote northern tip of the island. A small winding road through the national parkland connects the resort to the more populated area center and southern areas of the island, but the easiest method for reaching the resort is by boat. The resort does provide transfers to and from Phuket and Krabi or for the more travel savvy and adventurous, guests can organize their own transportation to the resort through taxi’s and ferries. In an effort to keep economic benefits localized the resort does not organize pick-ups from the Koh Yao Noi’s local ferry terminal and would recommend using one of the 4x4 SUV taxis found close by to bring you that last step to the resort.

Rooms

The entry, over a suspended bridge, takes you into the signature TreeHouse Villa duplex arrangement. The lower floor is open-aired and features a plunge pool which reaches into the jungle itself. It comes complete with a private dining facility, personal bar with a selection of complimentary items, a double swing, day beds, and high ceilings all decorated in a European ‘shabby chic’ style using up-cycled and recycled materials and a colour palette inspired from the jungle and sea. An exceptional space for two. 

In the airconditioned upper floor, the grand king-sized bed faces a balcony which sits above the trees giving the feeling of floating over the leafy canopy and providing views over the sea to the Jurassic massifs of the bay. A large custom hammock-shaped bath, ‘jungle shower’ and changing room provide a delight to guests. A second personalized bar is set up with a selection of complimentary items and another day bed for further comfort and relaxation following the same colour and furniture scheme on the lower floor.

Amenities

For active guests the resort includes a series of activities with an emphasis on environmental pleasures, from sea kayaking and fishing to trekking and mountain biking. For some, health and wellness are at the heart of this experience and on hand is Yoga, and mental pursuits that uplift the spirit and lighten the mind, and for a more relaxing experience, the nearby spa overlooking a lily pond with steam room, cooling pool, massage and personal body treatments are all on hand. Guests have a wide range of options to pamper themselves right in their own villa. With in-villa dining, yoga, and spa, some might want to remain in their villa for the entirety of their stay.
