- Located on the promontory to which it owes its name, the Hotel Santa Lucia Le Sabbie d'Oro overlooks the Gulf of Cefalù, a city universally known as the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian", of which it constitutes the prestigious entrance door on the west side. The view offered to visitors is breathtaking, the ancient medieval village suspended in the blue sea, dominated by the Arab-Norman cathedral of Roger II, surmounted by the limestone massif called "Rocca" and in the distance the silhouette of the Aeolian Islands, heritage of the 'Unesco.
